E.C. Jackson weaves a story of imperfect people working through misunderstandings, secrets, traumas, and just plain stubbornness. In other words,her characters are like many of us! She builds complex characters with believable struggles. Happy endings don't come easily, but must be worked through with prayer, honest communication, and the willingness to step out in faith and do the right things.
This is a worthy successor to Jackson's earlier novel, A Gateway to Hope.

Forgiveness and redemption are what matter most
I love reading Kyle and Sadie's love story of A Living Hope. I enjoyed reading this book so very much.
Forgiveness and redemption are what matter most. I know forgiving is hard, but Kyle and Sadie had to do it to move on to their relationship. Their family is very supportive of their decision to date other people and move on and see if the future is against them or for them.
Kyle is a great guy. I am glad that I named my son to that name too. He has a heart of gold and takes a while to forgive but his heart is always for Sadie. On the other hand, perseverance pays off for Sadie. She never gives up on Kyle. These two have a beautiful story like no other else. True love never fails despite the problems that these two experienced.
