My Red Car

This is my first entry to red hot Monday. This is my car. It looks like almost red. I hope this entry is right for the theme. My husband gave me this car on our eight year wedding anniversary. I really needed the car that time. I was practicing my driving before taking a road test. This car is a year old already. I have been driving it since then. My lucky red car. Thank GOD He let me pass my road test. It has been a pleasure riding my car. It is only for lease. I hope I have the money to buy it.

9 Years Ago Today

Living the tropical country at 90 degrees for just 24 hours flight and landed at Buffalo Niagara International

Airport at 34 degrees, felt like I was inside the freezer. Those memories are still fresh. Thank you America for

welcoming me. I am so thankful with the countless blessings I received from nine years since I have been here in

NY. Thank you GOD for blessing me my own family, wonderful and true friends to enjoy my simple life. I've

been through a lot good times and bad times since living the Philippines since 2002. It took me awhile to

achieved my own independence and officially becoming a US citizen. I hope to a more fruitful

years. Thank you America.

7 Years

Tomorrow, the 16th is my 7th year since I arrived here in America. How that happened? It is

fresh in my memory that it was 34 degrees and it felt like I was inside the freezer when hubby

picked me up at the airport. It was cold for me that time. Life is great though different, having my own family

is the best thing ever happened to me and meeting real friends that worth keeping for. Many things happened

in the last seven years. I lost my brother- -in law and my father, but came my two kids who makes me a better

person. We moved to a bigger house. I went back to the Philippines three times and  hoping

to visit my family again. I missed my Mama most of them all. I plan to apply a citizenship this year. I hope I

can drive my own car, that would be my best accomplishment for myself.

It Is Been A Year

and three days since we moved to this new house. We cannot believed that we stayed here that

long already. Once in a while we missed our old home but we are happy of what we live now. The

kids have enough room. Their friends to run and hang around inside the house. Also place for

adults and kids to play and watch TV or whatever. I love the kitchen, it is spacious, hubby and I

will enjoy our kitchen if we are eating. The backyard is twice bigger than our old house, but

what I love most is the pool, we all had the fun last Summer and my son learned how to swim now

without any floats. My little girl is also learning and she likes to jump in the water.
