I was a wreck while reading this book 

This is the second book by Ms. Melissa Foster that made me cry. I was a wreck while reading this book. It is so emotional. I normally do not cry while reading but she did it again to me. I loved this story.

Amber and Dash are so perfect for each other. I laugh out so loud, cried, and head over in love with these two characters.  I adored Amber's dad. He is such a very cool dad and so supportive. I missed my dad the most while reading those scenes. 

Dash will do everything for the woman he loves. He is even willing to drop everything for Amber's safety. Reno is such a fun dog, loved that furry girl. One of the most emotional books I read this month.  This should be in the movie.

The glitz and the power of working in the entertainment industry are fun, frustrating at the same time hassle. Grace is always been my favorite character. She is loving, has a heart of gold at the same time feisty. She never disappoints me with this story. 

Being greedy will put you in danger all the time.  People will do anything just to keep the power within their hands. It does not matter how they hurt people. Grace always trust her instinct and she is such a powerful character. I adored her. 

This story is so intense and so good.  I can't wait to read more adventures of Grace.

Those special moments mean a lot to the residents 

Life sometimes is hard and not fair. It happened to all of us unfortunately with Shannon who is the main and my favorite character of this inspiring, emotional, and soul searcher story. 

I know from the start that I will enjoy reading this book. As a healthcare worker particularly a housekeeper in the nursing home, this book I know will put an impact on my life.  I have noticed and watched how the CNA takes care of the resident. It is tough, overwhelming especially when they are short staff but at the same time happiness, they bring to each resident and their families. I was asked by the CNA, supervisor why will not apply for a CNA instead of housekeeping? CNA is not an easy job compared to cleaning the residents' room. This book is indeed a wide opening for me how being a CNA is. Shannon is not a quitter and I admired that in her. She never stops to reach her dreams despite what happened to her life. A woman with a learning disability, being bullied, cheated but has a heart of gold. She finally let go of her demons and see light at the end of the tunnel.

This book is so inspiring. I enjoyed reading it. I am looking forward to reading more of the author's writing.

Meet the Author:

Shannon was raised in a small town in Eastern Montana, where you leave your car keys in the ignition and your front door unlocked all the time. The kind of place where sunsets and sunrises can be seen for miles on the horizon. Where the spring crickets and frogs resting in the irrigation ditches helped transition the days into a calm resting night. Where the winters can get so cold, air can freeze. It was only after she was academically suspended by the college she was attending, that she became a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA). She did her training in Billings, Montana and it was there she learned how to take care of others and bonded with the geriatric population. For over five years, Shannon worked in the same nursing home where she received her training. The work was hard, but it grounded her and helped her find balance in what had become a deeply unbalanced life. It was not until she was a CNA, at one of the hospitals that she had a dream-three nights in a row-that she was going to become a nurse. She currently resides in Tampa, Florida, where you may hear her laughing with her husband of over 10 years,  scuba diving in the ocean, taking walks with their rescued pit-bull dog- Darby, or dancing together to life's music.

I did not see it coming

I enjoyed reading this book. It is hard to put it down. I did not see it coming. I thought I figured out who the mystery killer is but I was appalled. 

The characters glued me right into the story especially the main character Kate. She is one tough cookie, persevering and never gives up especially what happened to her sister Elise. There are so many twists and turns with the story. I loved it. Indeed it is suspenseful, loved the lighthouse and the sceneries of the story. 

I believe it is my very first time to read the author's writing. I become a new fan. I cannot wait to read more of his writings. This book is the icing on the cake.

This story will penetrate your heart and soul

I admit I seldom cry while reading a book. This is one of the books that I cried. The story penetrates my heart and soul. I know I said it before and I will say it again, Ms. Melissa Foster's writing is beyond phenomenal. This story is one of her best writings. 

The bonding between siblings and their love for each other is not questionable. They will be there through thick and thin and that is inspiring. This story is so emotional, gut-wrenching, funny and at the same time sizzling like summer. 

Love is blind and will do everything to make that person see the best in her. These two characters Leah and Tank are a perfect match made in heaven. The support of the families and the motorcycle club is admirable. 

These adorable girls will make you fall in love with them. They suffered so much pain, grief, and healing with the help of Leah, Tank, and the motorcycle club families their lives finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. 

This story is captivating, laugh out loud, and please have your Kleenex ready. You will need it big time.
