Happy birthday N from our family

My eldest son has a classmate from his class that had a sleep over that night. The next day is his birthday. He turned 12 years old. We thought that he wanted to go home and celebrate his birthday with his own family. We were surprised that he does not want to go home.


I even did not make special or buy him gifts for his birthday. We felt bad. My husband told me that I will make him a cake. I even bought a ready to chicken for dinner just for us. I am glad that I bought some pasta with me. We have that for the night then and have the chicken the next night.
. 

I am thankful that I have a cake mix and frosting in my pantry. I have a carrot mix bake cake and a vanilla frosting. My kids help me prepare the cake mix and the ingredients while I reheat the oven. I mix the cake and my son set the timer for two minutes for me.


We bake the cake at 325 degrees for about 38 minutes. We wait ten minutes to cool off. My summer babe and I help together to put the frosting on. She also put 12 candles on the cake. I hope that we made N's birthday a little fun though we do not have gifts for him.


We had cake after dinner. Here are some pictures I took yesterday. I also took a video. He is one very shy birthday boy.

Can you see leaves or heart?

Life is very simple. It is us who makes life itself complicated. Life is too short that we need to spend to people whom we love the most. Speaking of love, I walked our Pitbull dog named Maggie for her morning routine across the road which we also own the land.

 

I see this old files of leaves buried on the snow. Tomorrow is officially Spring. Snow are almost gone and melting. When I saw this file of leaves, all I can think of is heart. Is that what you see too, a heart of a files of leaves?  

Love is all around us especially when we open our hearts and mind. I see a lot of heart shapes with me. It happens when I less expected it. This heart made my day. I am very simple and simple things make me happy.

Watched the movie Fifty Shades Of Grey four times already

I never so hook with the movie just like Fifty Shades of Grey before. I watched it four times already. I watched three times by myself. I watched it one time with my husband which he thought that the movie is really good. He said he does not like the ending. He never read the book yet.
 

What makes me so hook with this movie? I love the book and of course I love the movie as well. The movie is so funny to watch. It is a very sexy movie as well. It is a very emotional movie too. You will laugh, turn on and cried. Be prepare when you watch the movie.

 

I still have the three Fandango coupons to watch for the movie Fifty Shades Of Grey. I also have an award card from the movie theater which helps me gain points. I just redeemed my $10 which I used to buy the popcorn and small pop which I upgraded for a size medium free.
 

I drove to the theater. It is a 30 minutes drive from where I live. I am glad that the sun is out today. I think the snow is melting a bit. It is still very cold outside as spring is not here yet. I am the first to arrive in the theater. I usually bought my ticket online but not this time. I know that the theater is not fully booked. I picked a different seat too.  

I am so addicted to this movie Fifty Shades Of Grey. I cannot wait to watch it all over and over with my DVD. I just need to wait couple of months before it is delivered by Amazon.
