Walgreens’ Prescription Savings Club: Helping People Save Money

This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

Many people were troubled when the partnership between Walgreens and Express Scripts ended. That’s because they weren’t quite sure if they would still be able to buy cheap medicines from Walgreens, or anywhere else for that matter. Nonetheless, Walgreens knows the importance of getting inexpensive prescription drugs for people and families that only rely on their monthly paychecks. Hence, the Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens was started. Here, people can get huge discounts on more than 8,000 brand name and generic medicines. Consumers can also get discounts on pet prescriptions, diabetic supplies, flu shots, and nebulizers.

Members are also entitled to bonuses when they purchase products and opt for photofinishing services at Walgreens. You just need to pay the membership fee to become eligible for all these wonderful provisions. Membership fee costs $20 for individuals and it costs $35 for families. Families get the most benefit, since the membership extends to a spouse, children who are under the age of 22, and even pets.

Since this is a new undertaking, Walgreens needs all the help it can get to pursue it. You can show your support for Walgreens by simply liking Walgreens on Facebook. You may also get timely updates and learn more about the project by following Walgreens on Twitter.
