Author Interview

  1. Inside Your Heaven: Inspiring Stories of the Afterlife shares your experiences in life with the psychic world and your growth into a Psychic Medium helping others to heal. Why was this an important book for you to write?

I felt compelled to write this book to share how many of us were born with intuitive, psychic mediumship and extra sensory gifts. Also, like myself and in most cases, people try to hide them or suppress them over the years and end up developing anxiety and depression. We live in a society that doesn't honor the intuitive mind, and it can get quite lonely, so by writing this book I am creating an outlet for those who are struggling like me with their spiritual awakenings. Remember, we are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience (Teilhard de Chardin). I also wrote this book to offer answers to those questions about what the inside of Heaven is like. I wished to show many others grieving how to navigate this world without those we love once they transition to the other side, by sharing my own honest and true personal experiences.

  1. What is a common misconception you feel people have about the Afterlife?

After every loss within your Soul Group, you will no doubt have a Spiritual awakening, and your loved ones are going to send you frequent signs from the other side that they are indeed okay and that they walk alongside you every single day just in a different form.  Don't ever think that you're going crazy. Be open. Talk about it. In some cultures, death is celebrated the same way a person's birthday is celebrated, as if it’s a graduation from this life school here on earth —a rebirth to the next life. Heaven is truly right here just in another realm, and what most people think or in my Catholic upbringing that St. Peter locks up the gates of heaven upon arrival, that is just not the case. Our loved ones choose us to be their Heaven because why wouldn't they? They're right here with us, joining us with love and comfort on our car rides to work in the morning, and on the couch at night watching our regular nighttime shows. They’re loving and guiding us from the other side through our time here as we continue with our spiritual journey and growth. What lives on is the love and light that emanates from them. I can tell they are off doing other things and serving in more than one place at a time, like the way the sun rays touch down on Earth in every state and every continent they too, are rays of light.

  1. What is one piece of advice someone gave you that changed your life that you think can help others with psychic mediumship abilities?

I want people to understand that being a psychic medium isn't supernatural, it's SUPER NATURAL. We all have these gifts, and they are the navigation system of our soul. I think Einstein said it best... "The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift." I can't keep giving into what our society molded us to think, to the point it's creating depression and anxiety within me. I need to honor my intuition because it belongs to my soul and nobody else can take that from me or anyone else for that matter. I feel so much better being led by my intuition than the thoughts and opinions of others in this backwards society. Since I've been honoring my soul, it's been such a great journey and I've helped, guided, and healed so many in return. Being psychic is just a soul-to-soul connection and being a medium is just connecting with your loved one’s spirit and energy on the other side. I've been gifted with both all my life and once I started to zero in on these gifts, the less anxious I felt trying to deny my soul's birthright.

  1. What is one thing you hope readers take away from your story?

Not only do I want you to feel safe, peaceful, and guided by my messages from my book, but I'd love for you all to gain the courage to listen to that still small voice within and when you're grief stricken, always trust that your loved ones would do everything possible to send you signs or come to you in dreams to allow love to continue on from their soul to yours from the other side, and that in the end you will all be reunited once again.

I rated this book 5 heavenly stars

It is such a comforting book to read. I read it during my flight from Buffalo to NYC and the three days when I was on a short vacation. The book is a wide awakening for me. I believe in spirits and angels. I know that they exist to keep us safe and warm especially when our loved ones who passed away. There are times that I can smell something and I know that it is my Dad who is showing me his presence. My Dad is a painter and there are times that I can smell paint even though my husband is not painting. My Dad also shows in my dreams. I know it is him but I cannot see his face. Angels do exist in so many forms. I know that they surround us wherever we go. This book lifts my spirit in so many ways. It brings joy to my heart. Sometimes I can see things that I thought felt like Deja Vu. I knew it already happened in the past but is still happening in the present. I feel contented that heaven is where we are and that our loved ones that passed away communicate to us in so many forms. We just need to listen and observe.

Always Her Love (The Steeles at Silver Harbor) Book by Melissa Foster

NEW RELEASE
Some fates are too tempting to deny…
If you love single-parent romances, you won’t want to miss Always Her Love, an emotionally gripping, funny, and sinfully-hot story of forbidden love, with a much deserved and epic happily ever after. Fall in love on the sandy shores of Silver Island, home to coffee shops, boat races, midnight rendezvous, and the sexy, sharp-witted Steeles. They have a penchant for pranks, a passion for loyalty, and a trunk full of secrets. All Steele novels may be enjoyed as standalone romances.

In ALWAYS HER LOVE
"I'm pregnant. It’s yours. I’m having it, and unless you want it, I’m putting it up for adoption.” Those were the words that changed Levi Steele’s life before he was even legally allowed to drink. There was never any question about whether he would keep his daughter, and eight years later, he doesn’t have a single regret. He owns a successful contracting company, he’s part of the Dark Knights motorcycle club, and Joey’s happiness is his top priority. None of that would be possible without the help of Joey’s beautiful and selfless aunt Tara, who’s going to be staying with them over spring break and who he’s been thinking about in ways he shouldn’t. But Tara’s older sister is Joey’s birth mother, and she’s the last woman the dirty-talking biker should want to get his hands on.

Tara Osten has been crushing on Levi for as long as she can remember. He’s a loving father, a loyal friend, someone with whom she can always be herself, and six-plus feet of deliciously hard, tattooed muscle. At twenty-four, she’s finally realized he will never see her as more than his baby mama’s younger sister. It’s time to let go of her lustful fantasies starring Levi Steele and move on with her life. Step one: Buy her own place and start dating. Step two: Survive spring break without falling harder for the one man she can never have.

The most emotional book I ever read from Ms. Melissa Foster

I cried so many times reading this book. I seldom cry while reading a book except in this book.  It is the most emotional book I ever read from Ms. Melissa Foster.

This book is not only emotional but funny, family-oriented, sporty, and above all so hot. Tara is such a sweetheart, the heart of gold and above all feisty. I adore her as well because of her love of photography. I can't wait to see her pictures. I bet they're all stunning shots.  I love the pranks, and the motorcycle brotherly love and Joey is such a fun little girl with so much love and laughs to share. This girl is such a little sweet thing. Levi is not only easy on the eyes but hard on his hands and a great father who has a hands full but an amazing heart to give especially to those who needed it the most.

A forbidden love that turns out to be the best kind of love. I enjoyed reading this book despite the tears in my eyes. It is hard to put it down.

I was disappointed in myself for not reading the first book of this series

This book is so good. It is hard to put it down. It is so suspenseful that it made my heart beats so fast. I was disappointed in myself for not reading the series' first book.

I devour this book for 2 days. I do not want to put it down but I have to because I have to work. I even read it while on my lunch break. Maria is such a warrior with a heart of gold, beauty, and the ability to protect people. I admire this woman and she is my favorite character in the book.

Teag on the other hand has so many talents except he cannot strum Maria's heart and she is a bodyguard. The connection between this two is insatiable. The fight to protect the family is so intense that Teag is not afraid to lose his life.

This book is full of action. It feels like you are watching a movie instead of reading a book. One of the best books I  read this month. I salute Ms. Maggie Clare for this amazing book. I become a new fan.

Always Noel ('Tis the Season Book 4) Book by Kathleen Shoop

When all seems lost, a Christmas miracle walks in…

Albany, Oregon
December, 1937

Despite the lingering Depression, Albany, Oregon is lit up for Christmas. The entire town is bright with hope ushered in with the holiday season. But Jane Scott’s dream for the perfect Christmas is ruined. She’s accepted to the University of Oregon, yet denied the scholarship that would allow her to attend. On top of that her boyfriend, Jack Arthur, stands her up just when she needs him most. Faced with not earning a teaching degree she wonders if she could be happy living life as her mother has—as a woman contented with all things domestic. As each day seems darker, Jane’s strength and faith is tested.

Feeling as though everything she had counted on is fading away, she flounders for an anchor. Little by little the Scott family Christmas traditions and a benefactor’s encouragement remind her of what the season is all about, what she is all about. Can plans for a new job pay enough for tuition? Does Jack’s mysterious absence mean the end of their future together? Is a Christmas miracle on the way?

Short but sweet book to read

Christmas books always give us lessons to learn in life. Always Noel will do that to you.  This is a very short but sweet book to read. Failure always makes us ugly cry but if we keep on going, that dream will come true. Sometimes life gives us other options to achieve our goals in life. There are angels that will always help us if we do not give up our dreams. Christmas miracles always happen. It is a beautiful holiday where family near or far reunites to celebrate what makes our family stay together. It is also a wonderful day to seal the love of forever.

Cinder Bella ('Tis the Season Book 3) Book By Kathleen Shoop

Cinder Bella ('Tis the Season Book 3)
She never had anything.
He lost everything.
Together they create a Christmas to remember.

December, 1893
Shadyside, Pennyslvania

Bella Darling lives in a cozy barn at Maple Grove, an estate owned by industrialist Archibald Westminster. The Westminster family is stranded overseas and have sent word to relieve all employees of their duties except Margaret, the pregnant maid, James the butler, and Bella. Content with borrowed books and a toasty home festooned with pine boughs and cinnamon sticks, she coaxes the old hens to lay eggs--extraordinary eggs. Bella yearns for just one thing—someone to share her life with. Always inventive, she has a plan for that. She just needs the right egg into the hands of the right man.

Bartholomew Baines, a Harvard-educated banker, is reeling in the aftermath of his bank's collapse. With his friends and fiancé ostracizing him for what he thought was an act of generosity, he is penniless and alone. A kind woman welcomes him into her boarding house under conditions that he reluctantly accepts. Completely undone by his current, lowly position, and by the motley crew of fellow boarders who view him as one of them, Bartholomew wrestles with how to rebuild.

With the special eggs as the impetus, the first meeting between Bella and Bartholomew gives each the wrong idea about the other. And when the boarding house burns down a week before Christmas it’s Bella who is there to lend a hand. She, Margaret, and James invite the homeless group to stay at the estate through the holidays. But as Christmas draws closer, eviction papers arrive. Maple Grove is being foreclosed upon. Can Bella work her magic and save their Christmas? Is the growing attraction between Bella and Bartholomew enough for them to see past their differences? Only time will tell and only if time doesn’t run out before they all have the Christmas of their lives.

Life is full of challenges, trials, and at the same time happiness

Oh, sweet Bella who has a heart of gold despite being poor. You cannot help but adore her for what she does. Being an owner of chickens, I am feeling her character. I shed a tear with that chapter.

Then there is Bart who is the opposite of Bella who grows up with everything. These two are meant to be. A dreamer and a failure are what make this story so beautiful to read. What a beautiful story to end. It brings joy to my heart. Indeed a fairy tale comes true for Cinder Bella.

Ms. Kathleen Shoop knows how to capture our hearts with amazing stories. I loved reading this book.
